====== MISCELLANEOUS.====== {{anchor:s2}}WITHDRAWAL OF DR. PERKINS.** {{anchor:s3}}We regret to announce to our readers that the ill health of the Senior Editor, Dr. Roger G. Perkins, has compelled his withdrawal from the REVIEW. {{anchor:s4}}He has suffered for some months past from a troublesome cough, to which, the demands of his large public and private practice, and his editorial duties have prevented that attention, which its importance requires. {{anchor:s5}}He has entirely suspended business for the present, and will shortly leave the city for a more genial climate. {{anchor:s6}}Our readers will miss the productions of his brilliant and philosophical pen. {{anchor:s7}}The Theory of "Life," of "Disease," and of "Cure" are sufficient evidence of the loss Homoeopathic Literature will sustain in case Dr. Perkins' ill health should continue. {{anchor:s8}}It is to be hoped however, he will speedily recover and resume his interest in our periodical. {{anchor:s9}}S. {{anchor:s10}}%%___________%% **{{anchor:s11}}BOOKS RECEIVED.** {{anchor:s12}}The North American Journal of Homoeopathy. {{anchor:s13}}New York, February, 1859. {{anchor:s14}}The British Journal of Homoeopathy. {{anchor:s15}}London, January, 1859. {{anchor:s16}}The Science and Art or the Principles and Practice of Medicine; By J.
