{{anchor:s4}}An old Indian drug, first used by the Eclectics until introduced into our School by N. L. Thompson, in 1857. {{anchor:s5}}The first useful proving was given by J. S. Douglas and others, followed by Hadley, Burt, Harpel and Schenck, in 1871; by Wallace, in 1873; C. Wesselhoeft, in 1875. {{anchor:s6}}The most important symptoms from practice have been given us by Dr. J. B. Bell.
